Oscars 2014 - Kate Hudson

Wow, wow, wow and WOW! This is definitely my favourite look from the Oscars! It's just....wow!
I'm speechless, to be honest! Kate Hudson looks like a goddess in this dress! - as if she didn't already in any other clothes.
The actress showed off her AMAZING figure in a Atelier Versace dress. The train, the woven waist detailing, the shoulder pads, the cape....everything in that dress looked perfect! And to put the cherry on top of the cake, Kate finished her look with Jimmy Choo shoes, a Versace clutch and Neil Lane jewels. Pure magic!
Nothing better than smoky eyes, side-swept curls and a few delicate pieces of diamond jewelry to go along with the gorgeous and dramatic look!

Rating: 10/10 (I kind of feel that I might have given her too much but I just love this look so much, she deserves it)

Oscars 2014 - Cate Blanchett and Sarah Paulson

The Oscar winner wore a nude, semi-sheer, cap-sleeve Armani Prive gown with Swarovski crystals to embellish. As if she wasn't sparkling enough, she added some amazing Chopard jewels. And last but not least, she also wore Roger Vivier shoes. This look is probably one of the best on the red carpet! I just love how she matched the jewelry with the dress and hair, and managed to look dazzling and not too "heavy". She looked GORGEOUS!

Sarah Paulson is another beautiful actress to wear a Elie Saab gown, and doesn't she look stunning? The answer is "Oh yes!". The nude sparkling dress looked great on her and it seems to be kind of a trend around the Oscars, doesn't it? She finished her look with Christian Louboutin shoes, a Ferragamo clutch and Piaget Rose earrings in pink gold with diamonds, paired with a pink opal Piaget Rose "Passion" ring and Piaget "Possession" ring also in pink gold with diamonds. Very well done!

Oscars 2014 - Angelina Jolie and Maria Menounos

Angelina, Angelina...aren't you très Jolie? The beautiful actress looked stunning alongside her husband Brad Pitt on the Oscars red carpet. She was wearing a silver, sheer long-sleeved Elie Saab Haute Couture gown with a plunging neckline covered in delicate beading (which you can find here). She matched it with Ferragamo shoes and clutch and Robert Propcop jewels. Her makeup was beautifully done with glossy lips and shimmering shadow. Also, her hairstyle looked simple but at the same time, great! (Wouldn't it look too heavy if they had worked more on her hair?)

Maria Menounos wore a white Grecian-goddess-like dress (or should we say a bridal one? - since the designer designs wedding dresses) in a Johanna Johnson "Muse" gown. She matched it with an Ashlyn'd clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes, Jack Vartanian earrings, Dove, Demarco and Le Vian rings and a messy updo.

All I have to say is that I loved her outfit and the way she matched it with her makeup and hair! So gorgeous!

Sofia Vergara - SAG Awards 2014

 

Wow! Will Sofia Vergara ever stop being flawless? The 'Modern Family' actress wore a silver Donna Karan Atelier gown in which she said she felt "[...] very Jessica Rabbit". The designer was inspired by "antiqued liquid metal" and came up with a glamorous mermaid-shaped, sequined gown. Nothing better to complete this sparkling look than Amrapali Victorian rose cut diamond-and-emerald necklace, tear-drop earring, and a diamond ring.

 

 

Malin Akerman - SAG Awards 2014

 

The 'Trophy Wife' star, Malin Akerman, wore a heavily beaded Naeem Khan gown with an open back from the Spring 2014 collection. With a slightly messy up-do hairstyle to keep people's attention on her amazing look, Malin chose Jimmy Choo 'Greta' sandals that many celebrities appear to be in love with, such as Jennifer Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbey Clancy and Jada Pinkett Smith. To complete her somehow tribal/Egyptian (in a very good way) look, she chose a Jimmy Choo 'Cosma' black clutch and Neil Lane cocktail ring and simple black stud earrings.

This look could've easily go wrong but Malin somehow managed to make it look dashing! Her bronze makeup, nude lips and messy up-do were essential to make this look work! Keep it going, pretty face!

 

 

 

SPECIAL - People's Choice Awards 2014 - Best looks

Hello everyone, firstly I hope you enjoy this special post! Secondly, there were a couple of accessories on these 8 looks I couldn't manage to find where to buy them, perhaps because some aren't on sale yet, I don't really know. However, you have the name of all of the designers and brands.

So, these were some of my favourite looks of the night but there are still many missing. Do you also like the same looks I did? Which celebrity do you think that had the best look? And the worst? Do you disagree with any of my choices below? Let me know!

 



1 - Beth Behrs

Co-host and actress Beth Berhs looked absolutely incredible in a black and white floor-length Giulietta dress (from Giulietta's Spring 2014 collection). She also wore a Rene Caovilla shoes and David Webb jewelry.

2 - Jessica Alba

Actress Jessica Alba showed off her amazing figure in a winter white look with a white zippered strapless Jason Wu dress. She paired it with matching Casadei pumps with a gold heel, a Rodo clutch and a delicate jewelry from Jennifer Meyer (earrings and rings), Eva Fehren (bracelet) and Dionea Orcini (rings).

To pair her look, she wore a Brian Atwood strappy white stiletto sandals, an emerald green leather Helmer clutch to add a pop of colour, and finished her look with Sophia jewelry.

4 - Desi Lydic

Wow! Desi Lydic, the star of the hit series "Awkward" looked stunning on the red carpet with a breathtaking dress. The gorgeous actress wore a Chiara Boni dress and a Lorena Sarbu belt.

5- Greer Grammer

Another star of the TV series "Awkward", Greer Grammer, looked gorgeous in a romantic Mikael D lace dress and wearing Rene Caovilla gold pumps. She accessorized the look with a Liebeskind bronze leather Maria flap clutch and square-cut diamond stud earrings.

6 - Jennifer Hudson

The gorgeous Jennifer Hudson showed her incredible curves in a chic long-sleeved, figure-hugging KaufmanFranco's winter white dress from the Spring 2014 collection. She paired it with matching Manolo Blahnik stiletto sandals.

7 - Allison Williams

"Girls" star Allison Williams stunned in a sleeveless royal blue and white David Koma dress and Chistian Louboutin pumps. She accessorized with earrings and rings from EF Collection.
